The Learning Assistant (LA) Virtual Panel is a place to hear LAs talk about the LA Program via online video.   We divide the comments from LAs into four categories:

 

Characteristics focuses on what makes a good LA? how can LAs use their skills to create active learning environments ? 

 

Learning Space focuses on the type of instructional environments that align with the objectives of the LA Model.  LAs also discuss their own experiences in active learning classes.

Benefits focuses on how students in LA supported classes benefit as well as how the LAs benefit from being LAs.

Supporting focuses on how LAs can play important roles in assisting faculty in implementing more active engagement as well as how LAs can play roles at the national level.
